Plagiarism Policy

The publication policy of JELEDU aims to improve and disseminate information objectively and respectfully. Constituting the main content of JELEDU, peer-reviewed studies are the ones that support and materialize the scientific method. It is expected that all the parties (editors, reviewers, authors, publishers, and readers) taking parts or playing roles in the process of producing a peer-reviewed product may also contribute to these processes to proceed on the right track. Aiming to arrive at this end, it is of utmost importance for scientific studies to follow ethical principles, rules, regulations and considerations.
JELEDU accepts the following ethical principles based on the guidelines and policies made by Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). It is expected from all stakeholders of JELEDU to adopt, embrace and follow the ethical principles below.

The similarity rate of articles submitted to JELEDU should be maximum 15%. Articles with similarity reports above this rate will be returned to the author without evaluation.

When the manuscript is checked with the "iThenticate" program, references and citations should be excluded in the filtering, and filtering up to 7 words should be selected as words. No filtering should be made in the matching other than this.

All submitted manuscripts are checked with a plagiarism program by the journal secretary.
